“Spain–Turkey Cultural Association Launches Activities”
A new initiative aimed at strengthening cultural dialogue between Spain and Turkey has officially begun operations. The Spain–Turkey Cultural Association (ACET) (Asociación Cultural España y Turquía) started its activities in the final quarter of 2025, with a mission to promote the rich cultural heritage of both countries on an international scale.
Established as an independent, non-profit organization, ACET aims to enhance cultural interaction between Spain and Turkey through projects focused on arts, culture, and gastronomy. Its multidisciplinary program will include exhibitions, festivals, concerts, film screenings, literary gatherings, culinary workshops, and tasting events—bringing together the diverse cultural assets of both nations under one platform while fostering lasting cultural connections.
A New Platform for Cross-Cultural Collaboration
The association seeks to create sustainable cultural partnerships between the two countries while offering new spaces for artists and creative industries to collaborate and produce. By building a platform where shared stories and experiences can be expressed through culture, art, and gastronomy, ACET aims to bring together both professionals and cultural enthusiasts with an inclusive and international perspective.
The foundation of the association is rooted in years of experience in international culture, arts, and media. Founding members Batuhan Zümrüt and Berk Şenöz have led various projects that unite creative talents through their roles as co-founders of ZB Medya İletişim and Spain-based Sezen Entertainment.
Founded in 2015, ZB Medya İletişim has delivered numerous projects in the cultural and arts field, connecting creative professionals across disciplines. Building on this experience internationally, Sezen Entertainment was established in Spain in 2022.
The Spain–Turkey Cultural Association represents a continuation of this accumulated expertise. It was founded by Berk Şenöz, Batuhan Zümrüt, and Selen Özveren as a new initiative designed to strengthen cultural interaction and develop joint projects between the two countries.
