
With partnerships with over 100 airlines and flights to more than 340 destinations worldwide, IGA Istanbul Airport (IST), known as the hub “connecting the world to Türkiye,” continues to expand its global network. As of today (March 27), Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched daily direct flights between Copenhagen (CPH) and Istanbul (IST). The new route aims to strengthen ties between Türkiye and the Scandinavian region while offering passengers greater accessibility and comfort. The flights will be operated using modern Airbus A320neo aircraft with a capacity of 180 seats.

The partnership with SAS marks an important milestone in IGA Istanbul Airport’s strategy to expand its airline collaborations and destination network. The initiative aims to meet the growing passenger demand between Scandinavia and Türkiye, while further reinforcing Istanbul’s position as one of the world’s leading global aviation hubs.
