The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality is continuing intense snow removal efforts in the higher parts of the city. The Metropolitan Municipality’s Road Construction, Maintenance, and Repair Department teams are mobilized to prevent any issues during travel and to address potential disruptions, clearing all rural road networks in the highlands of snow. In this context, a comprehensive snow removal operation was carried out on the Bayburt connection road in the Demirkapı Neighborhood of Çaykara district.
Emphasizing that ensuring safe travel for citizens is a priority, Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç stated, ‘Our team members prevent any grievances with their effective and intense efforts. Particularly because May and June are the migration seasons to the highlands, this is of great importance to us. Therefore, throughout May and June, our teams worked tirelessly and were mobilized to ensure smooth transportation. We will continue to be present wherever there is a need in every part of our city.
