According to the Presidential decision published in the Official Gazette, the regulation allowing Turkish citizens who are General Health Insurance (GSS) members but unable to access healthcare services due to premium debt, along with their dependents, to benefit from healthcare services provided by the Ministry of Health’s medical facilities and state university hospitals has been extended until December 31, 2024.
Thus, individuals within this scope will be able to continue receiving healthcare services from state hospitals and state university hospitals next year, regardless of their premium debt status.
