
Renowned for its unforgettable storytelling, iconic characters, groundbreaking visual effects, and memorable music, the third installment of the legendary Star Wars saga will be presented with a live orchestral performance conducted by Timothy Henty and performed by the Istanbul Film Orchestra.
Organized by Piu Entertainment, the special event will feature the film screened from beginning to end on a giant cinema screen in its original language with Turkish subtitles. At the same time, the Academy Award-winning score composed by legendary composer John Williams will be performed live by a symphonic orchestra in perfect synchronization with the film. The powerful combination of cinema and live music is expected to transport audiences directly into the heart of the galaxy-spanning story.
For more than 45 years, the Star Wars series has become a global cultural phenomenon. In this epic chapter, the Empire prepares to eliminate the Rebel Alliance with a new and more powerful Death Star, while the Rebel Fleet launches a massive assault on the space station. At the center of the story lies the decisive final confrontation that will determine the fate of Luke Skywalker. Luke ultimately faces the dark side’s formidable representative, Darth Vader, in a duel that will shape the future of the galaxy.
The event will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, offering audiences a unique cinematic experience enhanced by the orchestra’s live performance throughout the film. Fans of Star Wars will also be able to attend the event wearing themed costumes and accessories, adding to the atmosphere of this special night.
