A Boeing 737-800 aircraft of SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, took to the skies featuring a special design dedicated to the popular sci-fi series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The TC-SPO registered aircraft, designed in the theme of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a series admired since 2022 and set to premiere its third season next year, completed its maiden flight from Antalya to Berlin.
SunExpress, named ‘Europe’s Best Leisure Airline’ in 2023 by Skytrax, has previously incorporated characters from popular productions such as Kung Fu Panda, Minions, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, The Grinch, Smurfs, Peter Rabbit, PAW Patrol, and SpongeBob SquarePants into its aircraft designs.
