Following the launch of services to Montreal, Québec’s largest city, in July, Emirates announced that it has expanded its codeshare agreement with Air Canada to include Montreal flights. Emirates passengers can now plan travel between Emirates’ extensive global network and 11 of Air Canada’s most popular domestic destinations beyond Montreal, all on a single ticket, enjoying services from both airlines.
Under this codeshare agreement, 11 additional Canadian destinations via Montreal have been added, and thanks to interline agreements, passengers can access 69 additional destinations from these points.
The Emirates–Air Canada partnership offers flexible connections for leisure and business travelers, as well as those visiting family and friends, with easy access from Canada’s two largest cities to destinations such as Halifax, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Calgary. Emirates passengers can travel from Toronto to 19 destinations through the codeshare arrangement and reach 100 more destinations via interline agreements.
Passengers traveling from Canadian cities can connect through Montreal or Toronto and travel via Emirates’ hub in Dubai to exciting destinations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Daily Emirates flights between Dubai and Toronto are operated using the airline’s popular flagship A380 aircraft. Additionally, Emirates operates seven weekly flights between Montreal and Dubai using its Boeing 777, offering convenient connections to global destinations.
Passengers traveling to Emirates destinations can plan their entire journey on a single ticket, benefiting from extra baggage allowance, through-checked luggage to the final destination, and all other advantages for a smooth and comfortable travel experience.
Furthermore, members of Emirates’ Skywards loyalty program can earn and redeem miles on flights operated by both airlines under this expanded codeshare agreement.
