World-Renowned Jazz Ensemble to Perform in Istanbul

The world-renowned Palestinian oud virtuoso trio Le Trio Joubran will perform in Istanbul as part of their international tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their musical journey. Known for their contemporary world jazz interpretations inspired by jazz traditions, the trio has gained a devoted global following through performances that blend the deep musical heritage of the Middle East with modern arrangements and improvisational elements.

Music, Poetry and Visual Art on the Bosphorus

Set against the breathtaking panorama of the Bosphorus, the evening will begin with a special iftar dinner, reflecting the spirit of Ramadan and bringing guests together in an atmosphere of cultural and spiritual reflection.

Following the dinner, Le Trio Joubran will take the stage accompanied by a quartet composed of strings and percussion, presenting a performance that merges ancient Middle Eastern melodies with modern jazz arrangements. The group’s distinctive sound, built around the expressive tones of the oud, will create a powerful musical narrative that bridges tradition and contemporary artistry.

Throughout the concert, the voice of renowned Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish will be integrated into the performance, while specially designed visual projections reflecting the cultural memory of their homeland will transform the concert into a multi-layered artistic experience.

Opening Performance by Internationally Acclaimed Ebru Artist

The evening will open with a live performance by Garip Ay, one of the world’s most recognized contemporary representatives of ebru, the traditional Turkish marbling art. Known for pushing the boundaries of this centuries-old technique, Ay will present a dynamic stage performance where water, color and rhythm come together, offering audiences a visually captivating narrative.

A Ramadan Evening of Art and Meaning

Combining music, visual art and poetry, the event promises to add both artistic depth and spiritual resonance to a Ramadan evening. The exclusive gathering will be held with limited capacity, ensuring an intimate cultural experience for attendees.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to support initiatives in Palestine, giving the evening an additional humanitarian dimension while reinforcing its message of peace and cultural solidarity.
