
The Tourism Investment Association (TTYD) is set to open the doors to the Tourism Investment Forum (TIF) 2024 on Tuesday, November 26, at the Raffles Hotel Istanbul. This two-day event, held under the strategic partnership of the Presidency Investment Office, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), with contributions from the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and sponsored by Akbank, will host some of the most influential names in the tourism sector.
Cevdet Yılmaz and Mehmet Şimşek to Speak in a Special Session
Bringing together all stakeholders of the global tourism ecosystem, valued at $10 trillion, TIF 2024 will commence with a welcome speech by TTYD President Oya Narin. The opening speeches will feature Akbank Board Member and General Manager Kaan Gür, Privatization Administration Head Bekir Emre Haykır, Capital Markets Board President İbrahim Ömer Gönül, President of the Presidency Investment Office Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, and Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alpaslan. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will also speak in a special session, and WTTC President Julia Simpson will share ‘Future Strategies for Travel and Tourism.’

30 sessions, 95 high-level speakers will shape the future of tourism
This prestigious event organized by TTYD is set to break participation records and will feature 30 sessions over two days, with 95 high-level speakers, including 34 international ones, discussing the future of tourism and investments. The forum will cover a wide range of topics, from future strategies for travel and tourism investments to finance, trends, luxury and lifestyle brands, culture and arts, health and medical tourism, financing, law, design, and real estate.
A special mobile app has been developed to maximize interaction
To enhance communication at the forum, which will bring together stakeholders of the tourism ecosystem from around the world, a special app has been developed. The “TIF2024” app, designed specifically for this event, allows participants to quickly access the program, speakers, and details of other participants. It also enables users to message and schedule meetings with other attendees, facilitating networking. The app, available for download in app stores, elevates interaction to the highest level at the forum.
