Elite World Hotels & Resorts, one of Turkey’s leading hotel chains, participated in IBTM World 2024, one of Europe’s largest tourism fairs for the congress and meeting sector, held in Barcelona. The fair, which took place at Gran Via in Barcelona from November 19-21, hosted tourism chains and industry professionals from around the world. Celebrating its 20th edition this year, the fair was organized under the theme “People.Power.Potential,” highlighting global trends and future expectations in congress tourism. At the fair, Elite World Hotels & Resorts showcased its hotels dedicated to meeting tourism and seized the opportunity to connect with professionals worldwide to enhance its impact in the sector. The event also provided insights into the potential for attracting events and organizations from different tourism markets to meeting tourism.

Goal to reach 50 hotels by 2030

Elite World Hotels & Resorts serves a diverse clientele with its nine brands and over 5,000 bed capacity. The chain, which caters to various travel types with brands located from Istanbul to Van, Sapanca to Marmaris, Kuşadası to Bursa, aims to reach broader tourist demographics through strategies developed in response to changing travel needs. Aspiring to expand internationally in addition to its domestic growth, the chain has signed an agreement to open its first hotel abroad in Yamoussoukro, the capital of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, in June 2026. Employing a franchise business model since 2022, Elite World aims to reach a total of 50 hotels domestically and internationally by 2030.
