Dubai, a hub for numerous original activities such as art, festivals, luxury, shopping, and children’s activities, ranks among the favorite cities for holidaymakers. Following the recent visa crisis with different European countries from Turkey, the implementation of online and simplified systems for these processes in Dubai makes the region attractive to travelers. Salih Oral, the General Manager of Dubai-based Triponix Travel, which recently started offering visa and tour services to Turkish tourists, explained the important considerations in visa application processes and also issued warnings against scams.
Salih Oral, the General Manager of Triponix Travel, which recently won the ‘Tourism Company of the Year’ award, stated: “Dubai is a candidate to be the center of holiday destinations with its ultra-luxurious events. From helicopter tours to water activities, yacht tours to desert safaris and festivals, it’s perfect for those who want to make the most of their vacation. We also offer the possibility of fast and easy visa procedures with online visa applications. As Sally Tour’s Dubai company, serving many countries around the world, we have been offering opportunities mainly for Turkish citizens wanting to travel to Dubai over the last year.”
Considering the many activities to be done in Dubai and some of the world’s best cuisine, it’s normal for millions of people to flock here for holidays every year, stated Salih Oral, General Manager of Triponix Travel. “The Dubai Economy and Tourism Ministry (DET) announced that the number of tourists visiting the country in the first 8 months of 2024 exceeded 10 million. With a 7% increase in tourist rates compared to the same period in 2023, we are quite ambitious about visa applications, activities, and daily or package tour services in Dubai. We can say that it’s one of the easiest countries for Turkish citizens to get a visa. Only agencies authorized by the UAE Immigration Office can access and submit requests through Dubai’s online visa application portal. Since the visa application is done electronically, it can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. There is no visa-on-arrival in Dubai. Applications should be made at least one week before the travel date,” he said.
“The authenticity and validity of the visa should be checked on the ministry’s website”
Highlighting that the online nature of visa applications has triggered scammers, Salih Oral emphasized, “It’s very beneficial to be cautious when applying for a visa. They exploit people with fake visa procedures, taking application payments and then responding with a ‘denial’ without processing anything. Visa approvals are sent as a PDF, and no stamp is placed on the passport. This can lead to exposure to fake visa operations. The validity of the visa can be checked on the ministry’s website. When making a bank transfer/payment, it should definitely be made to a company account and ‘visa fee’ should be stated in the description. This way, there is a right to contest possible fraud cases and request a refund. Additionally, the reviews and complaints of the relevant agency can be checked on search engines before applying.”
“We offer unforgettable experiences with our special tours”
Salih Oral, the General Manager of Triponix Travel, concluded his remarks: “Dubai is currently a popular destination for the whole world. Due to the ease of visa procedures and the quality of service, the United Arab Emirates and Dubai are among the most preferred countries by Turkish citizens. As part of a strong group of companies offering city tours services in Dubai and many countries in Europe, we too enjoy Dubai. We aim to provide our guests with unforgettable experiences through special tours and various activities we organize in Dubai. We ensure that travel processes are completed smoothly, keeping guest satisfaction at the forefront.
