Turgay Yaman, who has been serving as the Corporate Relations Director at IGA since 2018, has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Relations. Server Aydın, who has made significant contributions in the industry, has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Digital Services and Commerce at IGA Istanbul Airport.

Adapting to the dynamics of global competition and focusing on corporate strengthening, IGA Istanbul Airport is solidifying its presence in the global arena with the addition of new names to its management team.
The first change in IGA’s management was made in the Corporate Relations department. Turgay Yaman, who has held significant roles in the aviation sector since 2014 and has been serving as the Corporate Relations Director at IGA Istanbul Airport since 2018, has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Relations.
Born in Istanbul in 1982, Yaman graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Science with a degree in International Relations in 2005. He is married with three daughters. Before taking on the Corporate Relations Directorate at IGA Istanbul Airport in February 2018, Yaman provided investment and management consultancy services to various firms, holding senior management positions. He started his career in the aviation sector in 2014 as Assistant Secretary General at TAV Airports Holding, later serving as the Corporate Relations Coordinator before joining IGA Istanbul Airport.
Another appointment was made in the digital services sector. Server Aydın, who has over 23 years of experience in the aviation industry and has made significant contributions both domestically and internationally, started his new role as the Deputy General Manager of Digital Services and Commerce. Aydın graduated from Kent University in the UK in 1995 with a degree in Business Studies, later obtaining a master’s degree in commerce from Deakin University in Australia, and an MBA from Maltepe University in 2023.
Aydın began his career as Marketing Manager at Fraport Antalya Airport from 2001-2004. He then worked in various senior positions at Turkish Airlines (THY), including the Head of Ground Operations, Director of Scandinavia, and Regional Director for Africa and Western Europe from 2004-2008. Between 2008-2012, he served as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Commerce at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Aydın entered the global aviation market between 2012-2016, where he served as the General Manager of SunExpress Airlines in Germany, and later as the Group’s General Manager responsible for Marketing and Vice Chairman of the Board. From 2016-2017, he served as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Commerce and Digitalization at Royal Jordanian Airlines. From 2017-2021, Aydın held the position of Deputy General Manager responsible for Commerce at Ayla Oasis Development, and from 2021-2023, he was the Director responsible for Operations in India and South Asia at Plaza Premium Group. From August 2023 to March 2024, he served as the General Manager of Abu Dhabi Airport, which is part of the Plaza Premium Group.
